Yup, especially since I went immediately from work to a cafe to work on my LOCI for BU, and didn't see the letters until I got home. Argh, a waste of my Monday night. Could've been watching horrible reality tv! It's ok though, with my lsat those schools were definitely reaches.

They said they wouldn't send it out until the end of the month and that I'd get it after May 1st.
It's nice to get it a bit early, but stupid anyway.

Rejected from the only thing I applied for this year: Toll Public Interest Scholars Program.  I was made an alternate a month ago, but got my hopes dashed about 20 minutes ago.

Thanks for the consolation.  I'm having a really crummy day.  I'm fighting off feelings that I wasn't given a fair shot since I had a binding deferal.  I'm also feeling a bit foolish for having fought off TFA's recruiting team that wanted me on staff, working in public interest, on the border, without any debt.  Maybe there is still another deadline.

Blah, I know the feeling.

I wouldn't be surprised if the binding deferral had something to do with Penn's decision, but of course I have no idea how that scholars program works.  Did you turn down the TFA position because you wanted to go to law school, or because you wanted to go to law school for (tuition minus Toll Scholarship)?
