Waitlisted at NYU..saw this coming, but was still holding out hope :(. Ah well, hopefully lots of people will decline their offers of admission (doubtful).

Well why not?

They should say,  "You are between 50th and 60th on our waitlist.  Historically, the school of law accepts an average of 24 applicants off the waitlist every year."

After four months, it's about time.  I knew that my GPA wasn't high enough for them, but I've been holding out a slim sliver of hope nonetheless.
