I was just thinking today how there is a great untold story out there- law school admissions from the admissions committee viewpoint. Imagine, they probably get inundated from early September (possibly even late August) to January with apps, have them all dealt with by March/ early April, do the waitlist shuffle until August, take 2 weeks off and start again.

Not that this explains any of the bad craziness that occurs in any particular cycle....

Same here.  4th waitlist in a row, and I don't have any rejections yet . . . I don't get it.

WL at W&M today too.  Already removed myself from the WL.  4th WL for me too in the last week, but there was rejection from Boalt (not surprising) thrown in there for variation.  Happy with my acceptances though, so I guess I can't complain.

Deferred at UChicago. I actually was expecting a rejection, so this came as a bit of a surprise.

I really wonder what goes on in adcomm meetings sometimes...

There was a thread somewhere that talked about that . . . . I think the general consensus was that it involved our names on some notecards tacked to the wall and a lot of darts.

well, someone also thought they might do something similar to bobbing for apples, except it was "bobbing for applicants."  I imagine that, no matter what, there is a lot drinking involved.  I like the beer pong idea, though.

pretty much. odds are i'm going to stay on the waitlist at fordham for a little bit just to see what comes up...but i don't see myself committing to that for too long, just because it would mean uprooting my life to nyc at a moment's notice.
