Rejected at Columbia yesterday by mail

Rejected at Harvard today by email. A little offended that they wouldn't even bother to mail me a response.

there's no reason for them to waste mailing you a letter. no offense to you (i'm sure your numbers were great) but why go through all the trouble since you got rejected? it really makes no sense. they don't have to "let you down easy"
