On "hold" at Chicago and on "reserve" at Columbia. I think I'll withdraw.  The thought of waiting until at least late May for a final decision sounds unbearable at this point.  So I'll make a final decision myself

possible...but CLS admissions is weird so i  can't say for sure.

I think so.  The word "reserve" still makes me feel better about it though.

I think "reserve" is worse than "waitlist", at least at Cornell. They review some apps and take them off the reserve and place on a smaller waitlist...so pretty much another cycle but only for WL this time around.

there is no such thing as a wait list at CLS.  at least that's what i got from the letter.

Dinged at BC today after being deferred for months...ugh.  At least they were kind enough not to wait until their deadline to do so. (their deadline to mail out decisions is 2/29.)

Yea, real nice people over there to give you that notice a week in advance. Kind of surprised given your almost perfect GPA. Better luck on your last 2 pending.
