applying part time after submitting your app as full time..

I was wondering if anyone knew if you were able to switch your FT status to PT once your app has already been submitted and complete?? And if so, how would you go about doing so? Do you call, what would be a good explanation, etc? I'm only asking because I know it's easier to get into a school's PT program than its FT and I'm not having the greatest luck so far this cycle... any feedback would be great, thanks

I would just call the admissions office.  You probably won't have to give a reason, just say "I'd like to apply for the PT program rather than the FT one, but I've already submitted my application.  Is there any way I can change that without resubmitting?"  I doubt they'll ask why, but if they do, you can always just say that you took another look at your financials and realized that you need to work.
