btw - some research.  from kaplan's website:

the advanced class costs 1399 dollars.

the summer intensive class costs $7999 (with room/board 10499).

they are two different classes.

I think I would just go with the Advanced class and a couple hours of Ashley Dupre's time.

What is the advanced course offering besides a higher scoring students and teacher? - do they talk about more advanced methods and such.  It could be worth it if so

I'm taking LSAT Advanced right now for the June exam - I've never taken another class so I can't compare directly but from what I can tell the major difference is that Kaplan's Stratosphere lessons, which are normally available online but not taught during class, are taught during class and incorporated into the homework. Advice about test-taking methods and timing, etc. is also geared towards students who they assume will be able to answer all of the questions on each section without running out of time.  I think the class also moves somewhat quicker through the material.  I'm not amazingly impressed with the class, but so far it seems decent and the Stratosphere lessons definitely are more challenging.

Thanks, Bax & wolverine.

3 Kaplan students with nothing but posts about Kaplan, all with matching IP addresses and all in the same thread.
Small world, isn't it.

nu does have an exclusive contract w/ kaplan.  i heard they are hard core exlcusive, no one allowed to even post flyers on the campus!  and i think kaplan sucks!!!

if you have that high a score, i think a class is goign to be a waste of time.  private tutoring is probably best.  kaplan offers some private tutoring, but its expensive and they suck.  get prepped has tutors & i heard they are pretty good; and i went w/ a course and private tutors for Expert LSAT but they are a regional company (upstate ny area) so i don't know if that would help.  but stay away from kaplan!
