But it is a myth. You don't need the recommended amount of water per day. Your needs will vary depending on how active you are each day. If you're peeing clear, you're drinking enough water.
It doesn't even need to be clear. Pale yellow is also fine.
Just drink water when you're thirsty. It's tbe best way to keep yourself hydrated. Sometimes, the body does know best.
