by changing my username/avatar, am i forever forgotten?
« on: January 21, 2008, 12:47:11 AM »
i'm thinking about changing my username. if i change my avatar too, does that mean no one will know who i am anymore?  will my identity sink into a dark sea of oblivion?

nope.  people will still recognize you by you posting personality.

plus your profile will always say what your original username was.

oh okay. although i'd like to think im vague enough that i dont really exude any personality on here.

Are you kidding?  You exude more personality than most of the posters here, including possibly myself.

i talk to myself.  a lot.  out loud.  and in public.

people often think i'm slightly crazy.  :-\

that is pretty weird. i would think you were crazy too.

See?  That comment was precisely what I expected.  You're extremely neurotic.

i know a lot of people who would find that last bit really ironic.  :D

You don't think of me that way, too, Melvin?  Right?   :-\

what, neurotic?

maybe just a little.  ;)

but everybody's got their quirks.  it's called being normal.

isn't anyone who is a regular here at least somewhat under the category of neurotic?

now that's just mean.  :'(

on a serious note?  i have a really odd sense of humor.  people often don't know what i'm talking about.  i make random references to things that people would never get.

as long as you don't drool, that sort of behavior could be endearing.

I'm not neurotic.

i find it hard to believe that if i met you in real life, i wouldn't find you even remotely neurotic.

Not sarcasm.  People who know me in real life are often horrified by my easygoing attitude.

are you sure this is what's horrifying them?
