For anybody with a knowledge of ATL, I just got into Emory & they are looking like my top pick at the moment. I am looking for a 1BR apartment near Emory for less than $1k a month. Where should I be looking? Is this a pipe dream? Thanks.

I went to Emory undergrad, alot of cheap apt complexes really lose to school - check Arbor Hills, Caliber, Highland Lake and Highland Square.

Our 3BR was lke 1500 a month, i think there were 1 BR for 950,

hope that helps

I was going to try to get a place off of Briarcliff if I end up going there.  I want to be really close to school, because the entire reason of me getting a place down there is so I wouldn't have to move in with my parents and make the terrible terrible commute through atlanta traffic every day!

I'm really hoping to hear from W&L as they are a much better fit for me.

There are plenty of places close to Emory where you can find a one bedroom for less than 1k. Atlanta isnít an expensive place to live at all. The Druid Hills, Clairmont, and Toco Hills areas are all easily assessable from Emory, and they are all very nice areas right outside of downtown.
