I am sick! I'm in bed - the SO is very worried and calls like every hour... I keep waking up :(

Plus I know our house is a freaking ice box but I have the heat down to like 62 and I'm still roasting :(

sorry :(

ok, so I'm reposting this b/c the last one was a mess (it's been awhile)...

So, to whomever has to choose to miss thursday or saturday (I forgot by the time I got to this page sorry), I would miss Sat.  I had to fly in a night early b/c I was coming from the West Coast and I paid full price for my hotel.  Many people will leave Sat, but they will also be sad they are leaving b/c more than a few stay. That said by Sat night you will be worn out, so may wish you weren't forced to go out again with your crazy online friends, but if you come late, you may feel a little behind.  Just my thoughts.

Wallace, man (and I say this with affection, even though it's going to sound unbearably smug and superior):

You've simply got to get over yourself.

hey '10 'ers .... is it totally pointless to rent a car to go from the airport to AA and have it for the weekend?  Otherwise, what's the easiest way to go from the airport to AA?  cab it?  bus?  what did you guys do?  I was thinking of trying to get a cab-pool, but I think I'm going in on Wednesday so that probably kills that.

Taking the shuttle makes the most sense. Cars help you avoid the cold but aren't really necessary.

how much is the shuttle?

last year a bunch of us split a shuttle and it ended up being pretty cheap.  They have different rates depending on the number of people you organize.

Here's a link

There's also the Michigan Flyer.  Not as convenient, but definitely cheaper if you can't share a shuttle.

Pikey, I was thinking of suggesting that, but I don't know how they'd get from the Sheraton where the flyer drops off to the school/their hotels.  its definitely not walkable :(

Hmm, good point.  There's the #36 bus, but that might be a little confusing if you don't know the area.  There's also Blue Cab, which is the "official" cab of the Michigan Flyer.  At $10 (or less) to the hotel, it's still cheaper than a cab by yourself.
