I have an 8 point jump in my lsat which puts me above Duke’s 75% range, and Duke’s website states:
“In the case of multiple test scores, data show that the average score is generally the most useful in predicting law school performance. However, Duke may place greater weight on a high score if the applicant provides compelling information about why that score is a better indication of his or her potential. If you feel that one ore more of your test scores does not accurately reflect your ability or potential, please explain this disparity in a separate attachment.”
I know the general consensus is not to add an addendum, but I feel that if I don’t they will just look at the average, which would not get me in the school.  Did anyone go through a similar situation, and if so, what did you do?  Thanks
