What are you doing back here!?  >:(

Chi is the right choice...

I'm in a conundrum, now trying to pick between UVA and Chicago blindly (before it was UVA / UCLA, which UVA won).  Debt from Chicago would be roughly $70K, debt from UVA about $35K.  If I prefer bigger cities and want to clerk after graduation, eventually winding up in the federal or state system, is UVA the more logical choice for debt reasons?

As opposed to the Nationals and the Orioles?  If you like tipping over cows, then go to UVA...

Do you like deathly cold winters, bad National League baseball, and toll highways?

Do I ever!  (Law school implies masochism, and don't all those things imply masochism as well?)  And my home team is the Mariners, so I have a fondness for endearingly bad baseball teams.

I don't like beer and softball, though.

Feeling queasy with indecision!  I haven't visited either so I have no point of reference whatsoever.  I guess if I'm honest what's making me angst is the money, since I desperately want to avoid locking myself into a career terribly ill suited to my goals (which is the majority of the careers that would pay off a heap of debt.)

I had this same choice, and chose UVA.  But, I had the benefit of visiting both.

My goals are a little different, but clerking is one of them.  Though visiting both schools was very helpful, it was probably the conversations I had with professors that helped me make the choice.

PM me if you want more details.  I don't want to derail the thread.

I just like hating on the Cubs.  It's a pastime.  Certainly not a Nats/O's fan.  Chicago is an awesome town.

I don't even know why they bother with Woods and Prior anymore.  Lost cause.  Move on dumb@sses.

I can third that offer  ;D

Although my typing isn't so good right now.  M1, you weren't kidding about the 300 workout.  I didn't puke.  I got about halfway through, then I found a nice, quiet place on the mat and just laid there.  For a good 10 minutes.  Waking up today I felt like a corpse.  Sheesh.  At least I have something to work up toward :P
