Is anyone who has been accepted going to the open house in January?

Joe

I really want to but was thinking of waiting until I heard back from one other school before shelling out the money to fly across the country to visit Georgetown.  Is there a RSVP deadline?

I haven't received an RSVP deadline yet.  The e-mail I received a week or so ago said more information was on its way.

ok i applied to gulc ft/pt EA. i wet to decision on moday i believe.  has anyone applied to both and only gotten pt yet?

Yeah, the letter finally came today.  Not getting into f/t was my own fault though; didn't realize that it was an option to apply to both and asked to be considered for f/t as well a month after I sent in my apps).

Applying to law schools is a sort of whiplashy activity  :)

Totally Off-topic, but ack!, I think the theory illustrated in your avatar is continental drift, not plate tectonics.

Well, yes, but continental drift is a subset of plate tectonic theory, although the idea of continental drift certainly precedes modern pt theory.

My particular depiction is Gondwanaland disintegrating.

If one stopped plate tectonics, one would also stop continental drift.

And it must be stopped!  :D

This probably shouldn't be here, because this is the acceptances board, but I got my waitlist today too.  It's a bit of a bummer, I really like g'town and this is the first response that I've heard from any school.
