Got an email today from Levin with my section and schedule.

Anybody know where the best place is to pre-order your books online? I called the Levin admissions office today and they recommended the online on-campus bookstore, but when I checked the site for the online UF bookstore, the required law books for the upcoming semester apparently aren't available yet.

I was wondering if there was anywhere else. Amazon and Barnes & Noble don't have all the required texts (or they're often not the required current year editions), and I've found eBay to be somewhat unreliable in the past when ordering textbooks that are still in good shape.

The easiest place for 1Ls is Wilbert's, across from Levin. You'll pay a little bit of a premium because they're a tiny independent store, but all your books will be bundled by 1L section (at least they have been in years past). Otherwise, check out the bookstores around town when you get there.

Thanks for your response, I will definitely check into that once I get to Gainesville.

I've bought virtually all my books over the past two years on Amazon, used. I highly recommend it--it will save you a few hundred bucks per semester. PM me as well if you want the scoop on profs.

The banquet calls for "courtroom attire." Does that mean a suit?
