I'm tired
« on: February 11, 2008, 04:39:35 PM »
Anyone else ever feel like they're not getting anywhere?  I turned 30 in December, married, two kids, 2L in SoCal.  I've been in school for the greater part of 13 years.  Most of that was spent getting my undergraduate degree because I flunked out of my engineering program and had to start over.  I'm ready to be done already.  Anyone else ever feel like me?  What did you do about it?

At least you are 2L...by the time you reach my age (in 5 yrs) all the schooling should be behind you.

I can definitely empathize. I'm a few years out of undergrad, and now facing deferring a year to go to law school not because I have a great opportunity or interesting way to spend the year, but because I had a bad LSAT. It's a good way to feel like you're treading some serious water for a year. Even though you're stuck in the thick of things now, you can at least take comfort in the fact that you're making progress toward your long term goals...and you're almost there. Good luck!
