Choosing the Right Law School / Re: GW v. UC Davis

Listen, I agree you have a fighting chance of getting in but let me tell you you have to fight!! You can't just sit back and wait for an admit letter -- you need to be showing your interest.

As a native to Los Angeles who now lives in DC and is attending GW next fall, I would like to say that I think you should deeply consider GW.  I'm not in the business of convincing people to make personal choices BUT I really do not believe at all that GW grads are at any disadvantage of finding something out west.  In fact, students are encouraged to apply outside of DC and have a much easier time of finding work in other cities (NY excluded).  Good luck!!

Minority and Non-Traditional Law Students / Re: Academic Breach.

I think it was suggested recently to contact the ABA and ask them directly.  They should give you an answer on the spot.  If nothing is on your record, written i mean, i doubt there will be a problem.  If nothing has been written about this breach why start the paper trail now?

Good luck!

Studying for the LSAT / Re: Worst LR Question EVER!!!

Just also to say though that while I agree that this question SUCKS it is good to remember that for questions where you are looking for something which makes something else true (resolving something) the off the wall answer choices are usually correct!
