Come on over to Chapman! I really wanted to go to Cal Western but was rejected before I updated my transcripts.  To be honest, I am glad I am going to Chapman over Cal Western.  CW is stagant, and will not be moving up in the rankings.  Chapman is young and full of potential.  Also, I have heard of the dreaded curve at CW accompanied by a high attrition rate.

If you go to nalp.org and search law firms that hire from different law schools you will see that Chapman, after only 12 years of being in business, has a good share of firms in Orange County.  In California, Chapman has a higher bar passage rate for 1st time takers.

Median salary is higher too.  Of course my opinion is biased.

Whats better Southwestern PT or Chapman FT?

Although Chapman is a Tier 4 I this hard to believe due its high median lsat and gpa, as well as being located in a lucrative area (orange county), and its bar passage rate is on par with other CA Tier 1 schools.  Just my two cents...

Thank you.  Originally I wanted to attend Southwestern but I figured I would only be accepted PT, if at all.  The neat thing about Chapman PT is that I am able to take classes this summer and become FT by my second year, which enables me to graduate in 3 yrs. 

Southwestern I would have to apply and chance it.

I think Chapman works a little different.  Since they don't officially have a part-time program they just waitlist the hell out of everyone...totally sucks.
