When you transfer from a say a tier 3 to tier 1 school do law schools care about your lsat and gpa in terms of affecting their ranking and prestige?  I did not think those numbers were calculated in thier 25% and 75% for lsat and gpa?

Can you apply for both and then if you are rejected from full-time have the law school place you in the part-time applicant pool?  Or do you have to choose one or the other?

« on: July 03, 2006, 01:30:22 PM »
3.7 GPA and a 149 on the LSAT.  Any state schools lean a little closer to the GPA or are atleast understand the splitter situation.  I am particularyl concerned with schools like Texas Tech, Nebraska, Crieghton, Washburn, Drake, South (north) Dakota, etc...?

Do law schools look at your specific scores (lsat, gpa) and decide or do they use your lsat and gpa to form a index rating and then use that?
