Choosing the Right Law School / Re: Chicago schools

157 GPA 3.5 University of Illinois

three years out of undergrad... great job at fortune 5 company... assume I can sell myself pretty well.  Also unique job with significant legal role

What are my chances at Loyola and Kent?  Also, how does DePaul place in the city?  I don't want to come out of law school making less than I earn now... that would be a serious ego killer...

FYI- I've asked this before but I'm hoping for more responses...

You should be fairly solid for DePaul, though they were a little odd this cycle with waitlisting LSATs around yours, but I think a lot of those people ended up getting in anyways.  As for Loyola and Kent, you definitely have a chance, thought it is more of an uphill struggle there.  The numbers for this cycle will show at least one of the two schools (and probably both) with an LSAT median of 160, so you'll be somewhat significantly below that number.  Good luck!

Save exceptional circumstances, Loyola did not let anyone below a 160 in this cycle. Kent is just as competitive.

Been a while since I posted here...but just wanted to say that this is not true whatsoever.  Our median for this year's incoming class was that leaves plenty of room open for sub-160 scores.  However, I will say, you will have difficulty with a 152.  Probably your only chance is part time, but I would not count on that.
