You should ask on the Students & Graduates side.

Thanks Bonkers!

Loyola's reputation is a little better... but not that much better!  Go w/ USD!

what he said.

Just curious, can they sue US News?

another note on career services...she highlighted the point repeatedly that they could help you with ANY type of career after law school, even if you didn't want to take a traditional path.  she seemed willing and eager to help students find the type of work that would make them happiest.  she also spoke about all of the seminars they have each year with alumni talking about their careers, wkshops they hold on interviewing (practice interviews with real firms and real lawyers), networking, resume and cover letter writing, etc.  seems they really go all out to help.  the students i spoke with seemed to all find career services to be extremely helpful whether you were in the top of the class or the bottom.  very impressive overall.  and again, the huge alumni network that isnt just there if you seek them out, they have an actual alumni mentoring program where alumni volunteer to help mentor students.

hope this helps!

Wow thanks, I wish there was enough time to see all three seminars! Oh well, I thought the financial aide was pretty informative; a lot of basic things though. The professors were great, I really enjoyed them.

I was there, but I didn't make it to the end. I really enjoyed the presentation from the professors. They seemed so captivating and full of personality.. but then again they're really trying to sell the school..

I also talked to a few admitted students, the guy I sat next to was annoying.. He was one of those prep students talking about his private school and how his friends are all lawyers. I couldn't relate to him.. But I met a really nice girl from Berkeley who will be attending in the Fall, she seemed to like the school.

That's about as far as I got, my GF was on her way to check out a dental school and got lost, so I just skipped the lunch and never came back.

I thought the neighborhood around Hastings was ok until I decided to walk back to my hotel instead of taking the BART.. I saw a drug deal go down, and walked passed some prostitutes soliciting a bald white guy.. That was fun to see, haha but honestly the people in the city were very helpful and nice.

i'm going! my gf and i will be flying in on friday night, and staying at the powell hotel down the street. i hate the cold..

You know we can't bring anybody right?  My mom was crushed because I had already invited her to come.  It really blows that they do that--I think it's because they have so many admits :-\

she doesnt get up that early anyway.
