Why do the Canadian law schools give out so few scholarships based on MERIT? It seems like I am a lock for major money at mid-range American law schools. Yet the Canadian ones seem to have no time for a white, middle class, Christian male like myself. I am sad to say that I, along with my 99.58th percentile LSAT, will be heading south of the border next year. I always wondered what the cause of the "brain-drain" that Canada suffers from, and now I know.

A full ride at Notre Dame would be awsome. Ditto for Duke, and Cornell. I always thought Notre Dame was an awsome school. Other than Harvard, it was probably the first American university I had ever heard of.
So I will be applying to Duke, N.D., and Cornell with a reasonable expectation of some big money... Im not sure what any of those schools you mentioned with abbreviated names are. (WUSTL, CCN, GULC???) However, Duke, Notre Dame, and Cornell are all schools that I think are really good.

I have a 174 LSAT and a 3.55 GPA through 3 out of 4 years with a major uptrend (4.03 last year). What are the best schools that I can apply for and have a shot at a free ride, or at least major scholarship money? I'm a foriegn student (Canadian) by the way.

If you like Canada...its people, climate, etc., you probably won't like Texas.
I dont like Canada. I live in Alberta, and everywhere else in Canada is an alien, liberal shithole to me. Thats why I want to apply to US schools, cuz i dont wanna live in gay, liberal Toronto.

What's with all this affirmative action BS I see on American University's websites? I live in liberal Canada and it is not this bad. How can anyone possibly support judging applicant's based upon their skin tone, and not be a racist?
