It was 99% likely the same thing I got. A student called me to congratulate me on getting in and asked if I had any questions.  I was in a hurry, so I took the cell phone number (they were calling from some G-town number).

Cool...when did you get the call?

Phone call from Chicago last evening.  ;D

Law School Admissions / GULC phone call?

So I got a call today from a number I didn't recognize. The caller did not leave a message, but when I called the number back, I got the GULC operator. I was just curious if the school has contacted anyone else via phone lately...

Edit: Should I call or email the school tomorrow afternoon, or just disregard unless they try back?

Choosing the Right Law School / Re: Tennessee vs. Florida??

Only go to Tennessee if you can tolerate the worst football coach I've ever seen. Ever.

Yea, I think I am ready for someone to start obsessing over a tier 3 or 4 school.  I get tired of seeing people cry and whine b/c they haven't heard from Columbia, but they got into  We need a change around here...haha

I agree with many of these concerns, and sometimes wonder if people realize that they can only attend ONE school come fall. (No, there are no awards for the poster accepted to the most t14s. Sorry.)

I was unable to login over the weekend. In the materials they sent, it mentions something re: a possible delay in gaining access to the site.

Law School Admissions / Re: Deferral Strategy?

My third LoR will be from my graduate program, and will be more up-to-date than the other academic letters I sent, since I received my BA spring 2004. As far as the resume is concerned, I'll likely wait until late Jan. or early Feb., but I have done some interesting things that might put me over the top some places (maybe not?). As far as not having completed the internship yet, I'm not certain that matters (as long as yhou have started the internship), since you aren't claiming to have completed anything.

I will send materials via snail mail.

Personally, I am sending an updated resume and (probably) additional LoR to all schools from which I have not yet received a final decision. (I think you're required to send an updated transcript, so that should be a given.) A cover letter also seems appropriate. All of this can only help, and it demonstrates continued interest.
