Just wondering how people think they did on today's diagnostic. I think I did well, though right now the scores are not available. I wasn't able to finish the last logic games section (the non-experimental one), but I did better on it than I did on my first diagnostic. Hope people have good news to report. I'll elaborate on my experience once I get my score report.
How does the LSDAS report take into account the fact that some schools (including mine) do not give out A+'s. The highest our grades go are A's. So am I at a disadvantage because my grade ceiling is 4.00 whereas other schools have 4.33 grade ceilings? How do they know that I would not have gotten an A+ if my school's cap had been higher? Any insight would help.
Does anyone have any information on this scholarship? On LSN I've seen a few applicants offered this scholarship, which I believe is for full tuition, but there is no info about it on the Columbia website. Does anyone know who gets offered this scholarship? Is it based on LSAT, GPA, both? Any info would help.
I'm in the late summer course, so I haven't had my second diagnostic yet, but I know that the midsummer course recently had it (or the early summer course, don't know which one). I was just wondering how TM students felt about the course and their performance on the 2nd diag. Did you do better? Worse? the same? Had what you learned up to that point been helpful? Some shared thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
While I know most people have their own personal, statistical ranges for LSAT scores, I was wondering what some of the best improvements in LSAT scores have been among LSDers. The improvement can be between diagnostic scores compared to the actual exam, or between a first exam and a second (or third) exam. I had a weak first diagnostic, so I'm hoping to boost my score considerably. Some inspirational stories might help. Also, if you can, please explain how you were able to boost your score (divine intervention aside).
Argue to your heart's content. Let's stop hijacking legit posts, and start f-ing this one up! DO YOUR WORST!!!! (Julie Fern is not invited here, but Julie Fern-bashing is not only allowed, but encouraged).
WELCOME TO THE TERRORDOME!!!!
The new LSAC admissions calculator is up. It looks really sweet. Much better than the old one. I guess it was worth the wait.
Does anyone have any good information on W&M Law? I'm considering it, but I would like to get some input from people who have an opinion on it (preferably those who have visited, but anyone's intelligent input is appreciated). I know the CIA recruits from there, which is why I'm interested in it, but I don't know much more (and the website isn't terribly helpful).
Just finished doing the LG drills for the homework for Testmasters Lesson 3. I find my biggest challenge isn't finding most of the deductions, it's finding ALL the deductions. I can usually find the ones that are obvious, but there are some that slip passed me that are not so obvious. Any advice on how to combat this? Missing even one deduction can have a devastating effect on logic games performace.
