How do law schools typically go about recruiting you to join their ranks?  The overwhelming majority of phone calls I've gotten from current students at the schools I've been accepted to have been members of [insert name of school-specific latino students group], which actually does nothing to attract me to the school.  If anything, I feel a little pigeon-holed.

Got a letter saying my application was being forwarded to the selection committee today (Furman Scholarship).  I'm positiv I will NOT get it, but we'll see.  Anyone else get an email today?
