"mudslinging"... interesting. both sides here have done plenty. "frickin liberals" "liberals hate america" people saying its all bush's fault, etc. what i am doesnt matter, liberal or conservative. what does matter is that all of this mud is getting on americans and our country, it's only hurting us. why the heck i am saying this i do not know, i am sure it will make no diff to any of you, but why not get it off my chest. both sides tick me off, and yes i will admit that usually its the right more than the left, but i dont have to start calling them names or just criticizing them for being, well, them. i can criticize their ideas and beliefs intelligently without ripping on them. hopefully we can get back to debating and arguing about ideas without the mud. it wont happen, never really has happened in history, but it would be nice  :)

the people that claim responsibility made all kinds of grammatical errors in their arabic, they had no specifics, and just did not claim it like al qaeda does. they normally put in specifics, sometimes video from people saying exactly what they did and WHY SPECIFICALLY, this group just basically said cause we dont like you. al qaeda is much much more specific.

but if you watched the news conference in london, they already say the dont believe that "credit"... they at first said that there was no suspects, then a reporter asked about the website. and they said they found no credibility in it, but were investigating

anybody taken the second to think that this might not be an act by a radical muslim group? just a thought, we always jump to conclusions. we did the same with oklahoma city, they thought ETA did the bombing in Spain, we just jump and say "must be them damn muslim folk". unfortunately, there are a lot of hateful, and yes "evil", groups out there who might have done this. i am not saying it was not done by anyone, or that it was, just that we should not jump to conclusions.

Everybody wait one damn second. Who has said it was Middle East/Al Qada/Muslim terrrorists? That website has not been proven at all, matter of fact during the London press conference they said they believed it to be a fake. We assumed the same thing when it came to the Oklahoma City bombing, Spain thought it was a seperatist group that did it in their country, etc etc. Do not just jump to conclusions. I hate it that we now just assume that something blows up and it must be "those damn Muslim terrorists". We are becoming just as closed minded as the extremist groups out there. That is what they want us to be so they can say, "hey look, they hate us for being Muslim. Our 'holy war' is correct". So everyone calm down (including me) and we unfortunately have to wait and see who really did this.

got mine yesterday, and this whold 8th thing is insane. moving it up 2 friggin weeks? what the heck? total bs. especially the passport photo. that means earliest it could be mailed is 5/5 or 5/6. i luckily live in austin so i might actually be able to get it done, but what about those elsewhere? so messed up, i hope the rest of the school is not like that. btw, got another msg from ut "you are good enough for a full ride at baylor, you can get into michigan and notre dame, but you are just gonna sit on our waiting list even though your wife worked for our dean"... sorry just had to get that out.  >:(
