Wait List / Re: Waitlisted at Loyola-LA

Not necessarily.  I think people can be called off the waitlist all the way up until school begins but from my conversation with the admissions office, it seems as though a majority of the remaining spots will be handed out next week.

I wonder how that can be. I was under the impressions that the waitlist letter that was sent in the mail was not due until July 17th. If this is the case, they are going to start pulling people off the waitlist before the deadline for the second waitlist letter. That is kind of hard to believe....

Does anyone else LOVE outlook calendar now (after being forced to use it @ work)? I use it at home now too because I like it so much. Although I have to admit, my sister's ical is much cooler.

I'm obsessed big time. I programmed all my friends' birthdays into it at home and rely on it heavily for reminders about things, because I forget anything and everything that I'm supposed to do.

I've put my friends' birthdays in too. I'm totally obsessed with it now too.

Wait List / Re: San Diego WL

I'm surprised the USD PT WL isn't moving at all (according to LSN) especially since there have been quite a few withdrawals (also according to LSN).

1. Leave a 1/2 eaten sandwich on your desk.
2. Leave extra wallet and keys on your desk.
3. Set up emails to be sent at a later time throughout the day

Can you actually do this? If so, how?

I called Loyola today to see if they had received my reconfirmation letter and asked if there was any movement on the waitlist.  The person I spoke with said that if any people were to be accepted, it would happen next week.

Does that mean that if you are not accepted off the WL next week, you are never getting off Loyola's WL?

Within the past few days, I think a lot of people have been accepted off of the FT WL (I have several friends who will be attending Loyola because they were just accepted off the WL). The PT WL seems to have minimal, if any, movement.

For those of you already in law school, do you feel like law school has helped you become a better pubic speaker (or at least better at expressing your arguments/thoughts verbally)?
