Transferring / Reapplying?

I have started law school but am still waitlisted at Cardozo.  I called them today and they told me I could reapply for January session, which means I would have to repeat first semester.  I'm willing to do that, what are my chances of getting into a January program?

Why do they have non-ABA schools if they can't sit for the Bar (unless there are special circumstances)?  That always puzzled me :)

Sorry if its a stupid question lol
