Well, you're one of the lucky few that the DeLoggio program helps. I would caution you to not say that "DeLoggio got you in". She may have helped you with planning out an essay or two, but it was ultimately you that EARNED a spot into your dream school. If the only way that you could get into the school of your choice was with DeLoggio, then how well do you think that you are gonna do? Just don't be another person that tells people they "need" to pay the thousands of dollars that Loretta requires to get into law school.

Sounds like someone has a story to tell.... Also, congrats on the acceptance soadfan.

Choosing the Right Law School / Re: Chapman Law School..

There are a bunch of threads on here about Chapman Law. I am sure that you can find them on this board. There are a few die hard Chapman 0L's on this board and they have a boat load of info for you. I agree with the post that Chapman is the best 3rd/4th tier in Cali besides Santa Clara.

I think you may want to look at california schools unless you don't mind relocating to another city for a regional school. Right off the bat, I can think of Chapman, California Western, Southwestern, and USF. This page will give you alot of information:

have you also looked at  ?

People like to bug the crap out of the people who can let them into the school of their choice.
Correct..they have a job to do and calling them to ask about the waitlist movement is probably a bad idea. I would only call to confirm that they received an item such as a letter of continued interest or you have been on hold since November.

Are you a URM?
At what type of place did you do your undergrad?

I think the majority of these schools will be reaches. Except, I know nothing about Texas Tech and Kansas. If you are looking at going into the Tier 2 or Tier 3 schools then you may want to look at the region you will want to practice at after graduation. For example, you should not go to Kansas if you want to work in Miami.

Does anybody know about a 2nd or 3rd deposit deadline for Northwestern or Univ. of Penn?

Northwestern only requires 1 deposit

Dammit! Thanks for the info.

I take it that you are a huge Veronica Mars fan. Did you see her on the cover of FHM or Maxim magazine? I know this has nothing to do with the original topic but just had to ask.

good question and I am pretty sure that it is based on the size of the firm.

This has got to be the craziest news article that I have ever read.

No kidding Alec.. But we have to see the picture of the woman first.
