Studying for the LSAT / Re: how long does this test actually last?
« on: September 27, 2005, 04:41:02 PM »
When I took the test in June it started about 2.5 hours after the supposed start time because it was too crowded for everyone to fit in the room so we had to wait until other rooms were made available. I think it was set to start at 11 and I got back at around 6pm.

wow - is that seriously rare or happens more than occasionally?

im waiting until after the test to watch it - its going to be my reward to myself. might make it a triple feature with Dont Look Back and Cocksucker Blues (stones doc of the 72 tour).

It says it starts at 9 on my ticket - Ive heard to expect about 9:30 before youre actually answering questions. If thats true, then at what point are you finished witht the five section - what time is it when you start the writing portion is my question.

good lsat question - poster supposedly scores 180s routinely in practice but also claims to like bon jovi's 'its my life.' Resolve the paradox

a) poster is lying about scores
b) intelligence in logic based testing and horrible taste in music really can coexist
c) poster's father is richie sambora
d) poster is being held at gunpoint by an insane bon jovi fan
e) poster is born and raised in new jersey

sorry, but why are we picking on NBA players? are we just jealous? NBA must be pretty quick to learn considering they're the best in the world at they do. For people who have never known any real success in life - at least not that of NBA plyers, you guys sure are quick to bash a group of people who have spent countless hours honing and pefecting their game - that takes intelligence too. Long live the NBA - go Suns +5.5.

Well, Im 6'0 - slightly above the national average and my practice LSATs are about 165, so yes, there is an obvious correlation between standing 6'0 or more and scoring in the 160's. This study only involves males however, well, 1 male to be exact, but nevertheless the results speak for themselves.
