I'm having some painful flashbacks. Mine was made worse by the fact that I was operated on by two residents. They didn't use enough of the local anesthetic and it wore off half way through the procedure. I was in living in hell. 38

wow, this conversation has really gone awry (yes, awry) hasn't it ? And by the way, is this gang up on redemption day ? She does make some interesting points, no need to resort to personal attacks. Civil discussion, s'il vous plais.
Josh and trojan, you two are making some blanket statements about Islam that are unwarranted. Talk of an "Islamic culture" as if it's some sort of homogenous entity dangerously looming over the West doesn't make sense. The "Islamic world" as you put is not homogenous and certainly does not consist of one culture. And coming to the conclusion that Islam is "evil" based on such things as honor killings and beheadings (these would be the cultural elements I speak of) is ludicrous. Honestly, if there ever was a flawed argument this would be it. Not very lawyerly of you I'm afraid. lol at "I have Muslim friends". Do you share with them this conviction you have that Islam is abominally evil and a war should be waged against Islam ? This is no personal attack, but I'd love to hear that conversation. Any way, I'm going to call it a night. redemption I will reply to your post tomorrow and to josh, trojan, and nmb, I'll address some of the issues you've brought up in more detail tomorrow as well. The worst physical pain ? I would say having your wisdom tooth pulled out without anesthetics. I've never had migraines so I can't make any comparisons. But this is excruciating and unendurable pain.
