Did Michigan consider your friend's LSAT or do you know if it was really high? Id kill to transfer there next year, but my LSAT isn't anywhere near their level.

He's probably just meeting all of these new chicks and getting interested in all of them. THere's like a 10% chance he will hook up with one of them and a 90% chance that after trying for a month and failing he will come back to you.

Toledo doesn't. Or at least everyone I have talked to has told me that including the profs.

I went and spoke with some people about transfering to Wayne from Toledo. I've decided against it. I saw no competitive advantage I could gain from doing so. Toledo grads have little trouble getting into Detroit firms and then further have all of Ohio to look at also.

Just wanted to add that MSU's bar passage rate was pretty disappointing last year: 68% compared to Wayne's 83%

According to the new ABA data that was posted last week at

State ave.=73%

It might just be a one-year fluke but that low bar passage number actually scared me away from applying there this year...

And Toledo is higher than all of the above...

Don't live in a Dan's House or at 603 Hoover. (The landlords SUCK!)

That is a great point. Are employment opportunities in Detroit pretty vast? What kind of grades do you need to get in to a firm there? Toldeo has a much larger legal community than one would think, but Im getting the hell out of this crappy state upon graduation unless someone wants to as Sheed Wallace says, "CUT THE CHECK."
