I LOVE my SO's parents...she thinks its funny when I ask her when is the next time we can visit them.  I feel extremely lucky too, she is Indian (East not Native American), and I am not.  Indian parents rarely meet and get to know boyfriends before marriage is in the picture.  I think its really cool that her parents are that open to her having a boyfriend.  They are two of the nicest most hopsitable people ever, and I have a lot in common with both of them.  I absolutely love visiting her parents.

Mmm...I love coldstones just for their cake batter ice cream!  I don't even get mix-ins usually...

yeah, all of their flavors are quite good straight up

I lurked on this board for a long while, and have only recently begun posting...but I definitely enjoy listening to the stories of people who are going through exactly what I am.  Now that I have started to post more, I get more satisfaction out of coming here...

I've gotten into the habit of sending personal notes to people.  Whether it's to a professor for an enthralling lecture, to my parents because I was thinking of them, or to a friend or fellow student, I try to send out personal messages (usually through email) at least once a week.  I've found that the recipients really enjoy every bit of praise thrown their way.
