Hi Guys,
I survived my first day (actually night as I am a p/t student) of orientation. Not too bad, went over briefing, outlining, hierarchy of US court system and sources of law ancillary or otherwise...We had burrito bar dinner with our peer mentors as well
Tomorrow night is our mock class/socratic intro...techie stuff and handbook rules.....
Thursday is spouse/sig other day, as well as professionalism oath, bar panel, and career panel....
I am liking it so far... There are a LOT of paralegals (many of whom have their paralegal cetificates and already know how to research etc... so everyone else is feeling the pressure.... esp in my research and writing section where 12 of the 20 students are paras)
Books cost almost $600 and that is not counting supplements.... yikes.
When do you all start?
Oh I forgot to mention my classes...
I have civ pro, contracts, torts and research and writing this semester.... each class once a week on its own night.......
what are your schedules like?
