Hi all! I will be a new 1L as of this fall. I read PLSII and am trying to follow as best as my budget allow...with four small children to provide for. I purchased used LEEWS over ebay to save some money.... now I need some good AD from you all... Do I really need both E&E primers and comm outlines(prob emmanuel) or can I cut some costs and just buy the E&E... Please share your thoughts.... experiences ...

Hi My name is Jenn and I'll be starting at Golden Gate in the Fall of 2005 p/t (assuming I can get the aid to get in -- not sure if I have any viable co-signers).
I am really excited to be going to law school... Anyone else attending now or planning to in the Fall.... lets do the roll call things and meet our new neighbors:) 4

Just had to share,
Golden Gate just sent me a letter(dated June 22nd) and they awarded me a $11,500 merit scholarship. I had already applied for all my loans and everything...just goes to show that there still is a chance even this late in the game! Happy Weekend!!

Financial Aid / Not Great Credit but didn't need a co-signer« on: June 18, 2005, 03:34:24 AM »
Hey everyone. Just wanted to share that I have ok credit(close to a 640) and with access I was able to get a private loan w/ out a co-signer.... not their best rate....
But I was so dreading trying to find a cosigner, I don't care.... So, for those of you who are running late in the applying stage, don't just assume if you don't have stellar credit that you'll need a cosigner.... Hooray! 6

I am going To Golden Gate in the fall. They estimated student budget allows 13,500 for 9 months of rent.... but(I have four children and a husband) so we are renting a 4 bedroom house at 2100 a month.... Anyone know if I can get the amount adjusted for real life or not?? Do I just call the f.a office?? Do I need to wait for my award ppwk (supposed to be arriving in next two weeks)....

 Looks like they really are trying to get out all their responses by mid May. ... one down, one pending to go.....
