Where should I go next fall? / Re: Fordham finally updated
« on: April 22, 2005, 05:06:16 PM »
just found out I am waitlisted at Fordham.  hmmmmm, what to do now.  Better than being rejected I suppose.

I wonder how long it will be before I get a final say.

I got one from albany law.  They replied with a sweet scholarship offer.  I have to sleep on it this weekend.

Where should I go next fall? / seton hall vs rutgers
« on: April 22, 2005, 01:34:57 PM »
I have been accepted to both and after scholarship $$ it will work out to about the same cost for each (8k per year) - I am going part time.

I just always assumed to go with the higher ranked (rutgers).  Seton Hall though is a bit easier to get to and have a 3 day a week schedule for part time in the fall.

Anyone have any thoughts on this?  Thanks all.

General board for soon-to-be 1Ls / Re: SHOULD I BUY?!?!

if you can swing it do it.  I own a house and a condo.  Check public records and see how the prices have been over a 3 year period.  Do it and get a roommate and make $$.

I am still at "complete".  I take it this will change to pending or accepted or denied at some point?

Thanks

my LSAT instructor mentioned that the law schools own/run LSAC.   I havent done any research to confirm this, but it kinda makes sense.

congrats.  looks like I am headed there too part time.  I have to say that they are very responsive to email.  Amazingly so.  May 19 is the open house I believe.

Full time as director of IT here.  Gonna switch my hours to 8- 4:30  from 9-5:30.  Starting PT in the fall.  This is going to be interesting at the least.

I agree with not working and going part time.  I feel that's lame in a sense, but like other things I can't let myself worry how other people are doing, gonna concentrate on my own work.  Still its not apples to apples.
