Law School Admissions / Re: All Transcripts required?
« on: April 25, 2005, 07:39:44 AM »
I might have some insight on this one. I took a few college courses when I was in high school as a way to prepare for the AP exams, and I never used those courses for credit at my degree-granting institution. As a matter of fact, I have never even seen the transcript. I called the law school where I will be attending next year and asked if they need that transcript as well and they said no. They said that the only transcripts I need are those from colleges where I took courses that count towards my undergrad degree. They dont even want a copy of my graduate transcript, even though Ill probably send it to them anyways.

Congrats on the money. They didn't give me any, even though they wanted me to apply and gave me a fee waiver. I was a little surprised, i must admit. Anyway, you should email Mr. Long and ask if there is any money left. I've spoken with him before and he is a really nice guy so it wouldn't hurt you to ask. Good luck!

Hey HippieLawChick,

You and I both received our acceptances at the same time. I take it that they didn't give you any money. Same here. Do you think that there is a chance that they have any left?

For those accepted to IU-bloomington this week, did any of you get any money from them? They didn't mention anything about it in the acceptance letter me, so I was just wondering when they let you know about it.

Acceptances, Denials, and Waitlists / Re: Duke Priority Waitlist

Hey guys!

I am also on the priority waitlist at Duke and am applying for a dual degree program. I believe they only have two waitlists: a priority wl and a regular one. I'm not 100% sure but this is what I think based on information I got from previous posts saying that they were accepted off of the priority wl for the Fall start.
