Wow...i guess they're trying to fill seats.

J, what are you gonna do? Also, do you know if the offer was for PT or FT? I'm sure you could get $$$$ from Cardozo or BLS when you apply.

Wow, that sounds like an amazing place!! Yeah SJU is in a pretty nice neighborhood which was a pleasant surprise when I visited. And its still not far from the train and fun in the city (which of course law students habe no time for  :-\)

So, you're done Antelope?  :) Congratulations!!

I withdrew from STCL in early June. Its seriously THE underrated school in Texas (I really don't understand its USNWR ranking but oh well), especially if you want to work in Houston. I wish yall the best of luck!!!!

Cannotpick -- Yeahh thats what I was talking about!

Schnorer -- I haven't given up completely...I emailed another LOC this week, and will probably be sending another LOR in soon. I really like the school, its just that I get the feeling that they wont get to my "number" on the waitlist bc of my low LSAT (even though I've seen lower #s non-URM then me get in ;)). Also, the dean I spoke with thinks they're going to have less withdrawals last minute bc of Feil Hall. I wrote on my Cardozo post the way the dean at BLS went through my file, etc etc...just a bad vibe.

BUT if given a chance to show my stuff (an admissions offer)'d be ON.

When I visited he told me there were slots open for only PT night. I asked him about the PT day program, and he told me the adcomm voted on that on a case-by-case basis.

Also, keep in mind that if someone who got in and decided not to go and didn't send in their deposit, they still consider that student someone who's accepted and probably attending. Not until kids send in the CARD do they consider it a withdrawal.

After my visit I pretty much have given up on BLS...I would have loved to go there, and it was my #1 when I applied ED. Good luck to yall, I'm sure something will pan out.

Has anyone heard anything? I sent another LOC in, and a print out of an email I sent to the dean saying how much I loved the school, and I have another LOR on the way.

I emailed the dean just to follow up and see if there was "any change in the timeline for the WL" and asked what the best way would be to send to LOC (email, fax, post), and haven't heard back which is weird because he's ridiculously efficient.

Any tips/insight?

Yayyy Red Storm!

Not till its over...luckily the two schools in question are in the same city as my committed school, and I'm doing student housing.

I'm from TEXAS...and all of the above for new york city. I've always wanted to go to school in the Northeast, and always been obsessed with NYC. Cheesy, YES.

I'd just feel better going to BLS or Dozo because it'd be a little "easier" to get a good job coming out of LS. Anyways, if I do well my first year, I think I might consider transferring to Dozo. But, gotta get through 1L hell first!!
