Here is the situation:
In at Kent with 10k 1st year renewable, plus I would be living at home, meaning tuition and living expenses, for the first year at least, would total ~20K. I would try to transfer from Kent to NU or UC my second year.
Now, would it make sense to forgo a 20k first year (and the uncertainty of being able to transfer) to go to either Iowa, BC, or W&L if I get in off the waitlist and incur a 40K+ first year? Does anyone know if BC has a debt forgiveness program for public interest law?

Anyone else kinda think that grades and school quality would make up for a bad LSAT? I really should have taken this thing again and now its too late for this admissions cycle. It's only now that it's sinking in. SH*************************T!

I wasn't going to go there, and, I'm actually uncertain as to why I applied. I would never attend the alma mater of the infamous chip carey, blah.

I think people should start hearing in the next three weeks (starting in early June) for the Priority Waitlist. Post here if there is any news (or thoughts). Also, when exactly is the first deposit?

Just a question: Is it just me, or did everyone on LSN go to a "Top 25" school? Is this really possible? It seems it smacks of a 'category mistake.'

Am I just reaching when I think I have a chance to get off some of my waitlists? Iowa, BC, W&L are the ones I'm pulling for. While neither Iowa or BC seem to have gone to the WL (at leat according to LSN), W&L seems to have sporadically been accepting people )with coin!). What are people's thoughts on chances of being pulled at these three places.

Kent gave me 10k, plus living at home, plus the money I have saved would probably allow me to come out in the black or break even. My other schools, of which I have no certainty of getting into (BC, W&L, Iowa, Wisc, etc) would send me into debt, anywhere from 75-120K. Is it worth it to go to one of these schools? Does it really make that much difference?

Anyone know when the next deposit is due, chances of being pulled off, etc?
