Can anyone suggest hotels in the area? I am taking a real early flight out on Monday morning. Therefore, I will either need to arrange a car service or be in an area tha cabs are always accessible. Can anyone help? 84

I have heard that Loyola NO is very "who you know" kind of school? That people are successful if they have deep roots / ties to the community? Is this true? Also, that the curriculum focuses primarily on civil law vs. common law even though you may be enrolled in the common law program? Hence the low rate of people passing the bar? I am from the Northeast. The above really concerns me. I will be visiting the school in April. Does anyone know if this rings true? 87

Hi Everyone,
I would greatly appreciate your advice! I haven't heard back from all the schools that I have applied for. However, I was accepted to Loyola NO and Albany. I am not sure which one to attend. I am looking to study Family Law. Little bit about me. Grew up on Long Island - hated it. Attended NYU - loved it. One of the worries that I have about attending a school in the South is that I am Asian and have heard there is a lot of racism down there? Is this true? Thnx. |
