I think it is okay. I know that there is a Korean population and there are vietnamese down there.  BUFORD highway!

My friend has been down there for 5 years and I have heard nothing bad about it.  He is also working at Suntrust bank - he is Korean.

this could be a naive question.

but what is the substantial difference between the two?
ok..no longer promising.

hahahaha

I only speak from limited experience from lawyers I know. Whether all operate this way, I can't tell you. Like I said, though, get good grades, make law review, get some great clerkships/internships, and it won't matter where you went to school.

There's a substantive difference between a T3 that's never been out of T3 and a T2.

and syracuse was T3 last year? I have no idea about last year's rankings.

:(

Also, I was wondering..the T3 that i am very interested in has a great alumni and strong job placement. Much better than the T2 school I like.

cool! so it is an equal chance...despite the familiarity of the name!

this is promising!

I was just wondering this..

so you are a firm...what do you do when you get 2 of the same type of resumes..

one is from a more well known name (not necessarily for its law school) vs. one u are not too familiar with.  what do you do?

All of this gives me a headache.

Also - Lane - what do you think? Do you think that schools whose names are more familiar will be to our advantage?

Anyone? I feel I haven't received any advice or opinions?!?!
