Hmm...I wonder why they receieved that many applications. I am from New York and don't live too far from Hofstra - it is definitely not rural but it is NO NYC. What made everyone apply here? I know it has a good program however it is the location? Or the free application if you submitted it electronically? I mean Syracuse and Hofstra are ranked the same but I haven't heard anything of the same caliber as what Hofstra is saying?

Nah, don't get me wrong. I am very happy to have gotten in to such a school.
It is certainly not about whether or not I want to study law, etc. I guess it is just that it is just a bummer to not have gotten into your 1st choice..or 2nd choice.
And that bummer of a feeling overlaps.

I know the school that I will be attending is pretty good but it isn't my first choice. I don't think I have any school spirit and taking everything as it goes. I am feeling pretty blah about the whole situation. Anyone else in a similiar slump? I am hoping that this will change and I will start to be excited about it all. Not looking promising though.
