Please, I'd take NYU 3 days after classes!  But Cardozo is another story...goodluck with Seton Hall

Good point!!!!   :D

Are you one those recently admitted to ND?  Good luck there!!!!!

Too bad they called me IN MAY!!

Seriously, it makes me feel pretty good I was accepted..but come on people, do you really expect someone to find a place and move across the country in like a week?!?

Not that I would go there even if I had been accepted into the May program earlier..but it at least might have made it interesting.

That is the trouble with waitlist--calling at the last minute.  I know someone who was accepted to NYU three days before classes started.  And she took it.

I got into BU off of the waiting list off the weekend, too. I just got a giant packet in the mail, no phone call. It's a little irrelevant now, since I got into my top choice, super reach, but still nice. BU was my top realistic choice during the admissions process. ;)

Congratulations on U Penn!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just got the call...I will have to really consider it, but I think in the end Emory will still win (my SO can move to ATL but not STL)...any thoughts?

Congratulations.  They are moving fast.  May 1 was their first deposit deadline.

Personally I favor WU over Emory.  I think WU gives you a better legal education.

Where should I go next fall? / Re: To become a JAG officer...

Why would JAG be competitive?

Most of these public interest, not profit positions are incredibly competitive.  You never thought that people would fight not to make money.

So what did you day say?

Well, I just paid the tuition deposit for Washington University today.  I am turning down a $75,000 scholarship from Cardozo for a $21,000 from Washington University.  I hope that I am making the right decision, anyone else out there making a similar choice?

You will be getting a better quality legal education.

BLS does have a better alumni network, just by virtue of being much older.  Proponents for Cardozo are saying that this is a young school on the rapid rise.  This is something to consider as their student body has improved a lot in the past few application cycles.

Having visited Cardozo I do not think the Jewish issue is a problem at all.  The school is pretty diverse--at least from my perspective as a Southerner.  I think the Jewish share of the student body is only slightly larger than that at other NYC schools.

Cardozo does shut down every week to observe the Sabbath.
