Law School Discussion

I'm in this batch, too. Went to decision (finally!) yesterday. Slightly lower LSAT than you all, so we'll see. If I don't make the priority WL, I'm giving up all hope for UVA. I consider general WL (when 50 people are ahead of you on the priority one) to be essentially the same thing as a rejection, only more frustrating because there's no definitive closure. Keeping my fingers crossed. Good luck to you all.

Georgetown's is pretty obnoxious...very cold and dismissive. Stanford's is much nicer--so G-town can shove it.

I've been complete since mid-January, and I'm still getting the "not yet" on the status checker. Argghhh. This waiting is killing me.

An aside...I also checked with my financial aid office, because I need to do an 'expected student income' addendum (because my FAFSA is based on full-time employment, and I will be leaving that employment to attend school full time, so they adjust your EFC accordingly).  They said that because I'm waitlisted, I could go ahead and complete this form (normally only admits should)...because things can "move very quickly with the waitlists, and that way we could have your package ready to go should you get the offer". 

Good info on financial aid. Question: I, too, am employed full time but obviously won't be while I'm in school. How do you complete an "expected student income" form? Do you get in from the school's financial aid office, or is it part of FAFSA? Is the school where you are waitlisted private, and if so, did you also fill out the super extensive Need Access or CSS Profile form?

Thanks...Just want to check because I am also waitlisted and need to have the money figured out if I am lucky enough to receive an offer.

Does anyone know the seat deposit date for Georgia?   

Sorry folks...getting a little antsy here...

My first UGA seat deposit (only $50) was due on April 1. But I think it depends on when you are admitted. Next deposit due some time in May or June.
