Is NYLS still in Tier 3?  Did it move tiers at all?

It wasn't the admissions office that told me that.  Sorry, I should have clarified that. This person was a law school applicant as well.

Acceptances, Denials, and Waitlists / Emailing dean of admissions

I'm planning to visit a school I was waitlisted at and I was told to e-mail the dean and tell him when I will be there and ask to set up a short meeting with him.  What do you guys think of this?  Will the dean even read that e-mail?

Hey Nella, does LSN indicate whether they got in part time or full time?  Just curious...

It looks like they were all full time.  My numbers are 151/155 3.5  Surprising huh?

Hey.  I got waitlisted here too.  Got the letter yesterday.  According to LSN last year, all the waitlists got in except one.  I know that LSN is not representative of the applicant pool  but at least its something.

But will admissions people tell the committee that you are there??

Hey everyone.  I just got waitlisted at St. John's. I keep hearing that visiting a school is a good way of showing interest but how will the admissions committe know that you've visited?? Do you have to meet with them too?  I have a 151/155 3.5 gpa so even getting waitlisted here is a miracle. I would really love to go to this school and according to LSN, everyone on their waitlist got accepted last year except one.  Any advice would be appreciated.  Thanks.
