I've visited both schools. I prefered the location of W&M. Williamsburg is a small town but there seemed to be things to do(if you ever take a break from studying!). W&L is pretty much in the middle of nowhere. 3 hours from D.C and at least 1 1/2 hours from any other normal sized cities. The people seemed friendly at both schools, but I visited during the summer so I only came across a handful of students. I felt more comfortable at W&M. The law building at W&L looked like it was straight out of the 70's. It was a little disappointing compared to the beautiful archticture of the undergrad campus.
