I got into HLS with a 176 and a 3.5 (LSDAS reported it as a 3.33 b/c of bridge credits) at a TTT.  I think the fact that I am 6 years out of school really helped.. my gpa seemed less relevant. I don't think that can be accomplished in 1-2 years though, but if you don't get in where you want and really, really want to go to a top school, taking some time off has many benefits.  If you feel burned out of school, time off can help you get the desire to learn back.

I know at Princeton Review you're much better off with the texas hold'em idea . .  I got in with a card trick demo, and the people with academic presentations did not get sked back.  How much is Kaplan's starting salary?  I love TPR, and highly reccomend them as an employer.
