Choosing the Right Law School / Re: The 22's

I think the next group after the T14s would be semi national schools like Texas, Vandy and UCLA.  Schools ranked from 20-30 should be included in one group.  Fordham is ranked around 30, and Iowa around 20, who is to say that Iowa is one level above Fordham?

Allah must have been smiling on me.  the breathalyzer at the station hadn't been calibrated and maintained according to the required schedule therefore the results are inadmissable.  The prosecutor was going to charge me with a DUI but now has been forced to drop the charges.  Apparently he is completely livid and heads are going to roll in the police station.  At the advice of my lawyer I called the law school and advised them that I was arrested on a driving related incident and all charges have been dropped.  They said that they have to put this in front of the admissions committee as a matter of policy but that they were relatively confident it would not adversely change my admissions situation.

Good good, congrats!
Just make sure you don't get into this kind of mess in the future you should be fine.  Look at what Mel Gibson's gotten himself into with a DUI arrest, you must realize this is serious, you could have killed someone.

Instead of looking at the exact spot in ranking, it makes more sense to group the schools into several large groups.  For example, Harvard, Yale would belong to the most prestigious group, followed immidiately by Stanford, Columbia, Chicago and NYU, then followed by UPenn, UMich, UVa, and so on.

Studying for the LSAT / Re: 5 or 4 sections?

Do 4 or 5 section strictly timed preptest from time to time to gauge yourself.  But, you should also remember to do significant preptests untimed, so you can understand the underlying logic of every single question on every single exam.

I think the difference in tuition would be 15k to 20k, which is not bad, considering the OP is jumping about 40 spots in ranking.  But, if the OP wants to come back and practice in NY (upstate) then he should probably go to UB, otherwise, Maryland would open significantly more doors, even for NYC jobs, although NYC jobs would be quite hard to comeby from either school./

Well, Tulsa might have cheaper COL than Manhattan, but remember that it is Tulsa, and not NYC, you get what you paid for.

i think less than 5% of the american population have a score below 600.  On the op's lsn, he said he got into NW a long time ago.  That sounds all too fishy.

I have that score about 4 months ago.  I am ordering another credit score report, see what my score is now.  I have been paying close attention to my bill payments, to make sure I pay all of them in time.  I heard scores and improve significantly in a short time if we keep tract of all our bills.

I already have all the outlines I need.  I am armed to the teeth.

Just checked my order status with Lenovo, the estimated ship date is Aug 29th.  >:(
I order my machine more than 1 week ago, wtf is wrong with them?  Maybe I should cancel and go with the Dell D420.

Which model did you order from them? Was it a ThinkPad?

Yeah, it was a x60.
