Studying for the LSAT / Race Box on LSAT...annoying
« on: May 14, 2009, 05:35:53 PM »
Im half Armenian (technically Georgian as well) and half hispanic. I get frustrated with single option check boxes, such as the one offered on the LSAT. I am thinking I will choose not to report my LSAT race. I'm just not comfortable putting down either "white" or "hispanic". I noticed many of the applications allow multiple boxes or even an area to fill in the mixed race. I am pretty confident this is the go-to move...Does it look off that I wont report my LSAT race or possibly write "other" while submitting my mixed race on applications? thoughts?

Reviews, Visits, and Rankings / GULC Curriculum B?
« on: December 01, 2008, 02:36:06 AM »
can anyone speak to this a bit? I like the idea of an alternative education which includes philosophy and economics but I'm not willing to sacrifice a legal education to do this. To clarify, law school is a professional school and practical education is necessary but it would seem engaging to throw in some theory. thoughts on the program? thoughts on career implications?

- pretty specific questions directed at GULC students, thanks in advance

Reviews, Visits, and Rankings / GW Employment Report
« on: November 29, 2008, 02:18:15 AM »
anyone have a more comprehensive employment report than this:

Id be interested in the % of people that go into various breakdowns. avg numbers can be misleading for a big school like gw

- the vandy report floating around is excellent btw

I routinely miss 4-5 more questions on usually the first LR. Is this well-known and I'm just realizing this now?

Law School Applications / Targeted LOR?
« on: August 01, 2008, 06:23:45 PM »
I've heard that the only reason one should have a targeted LOR is if their recommender is a JD alum of the particular law school. any truth to this?
