Choosing the Right Law School / Re: Bad G.P.A./ Okay LSAT

A friend of mine has similar stats: gpa around 3.00, lsat above 160. He has been admitted to St. Louis Univ, Rutgers-Camden, Univ San Diego, Syracuse Univ, and St. Johns. And still is waiting for the majority of his decisions!

I think he is doing great. And he was praised on his personal statement.

With those stats, Tier 2 is definitely a possibility. If we are just going based on ranking, lower/mid Tier 2 schools are good shots, and the upper Tier 2/lower Tier 1 schools are reaches.

congratulations!!! ahh!!! this entire process can be sooo exciting at times!

just wondering if anyone was going...

hmm. in that case, then it probably isnt WFU. the envelope is 8.5 by 11 and bends quite easily - shouldnt be a problem to fit it in a decently sized mailbox.

I am sort of in the same boat as you. I gave a dean the form a couple weeks back, but it doesnt look like she has sent it in yet! So, I am incomplete still. Frustrating. Same goes for Cornell...

I think I will overnight the forms to a different dean tomorrow. Your post has given me additional motivation.

I think you should get the form filled out! I mean, I would rather have a rejection, than a question mark.

Right now I would say Berkeley. The warmer weather draws me to Cali and I've heard so many good things about the school. If I'm accepted, I'll definitely visit b/c I've not actually been there before.

But you ask a tough question. I wish Hawaii had a top-ranked law school, cuz then I would go there hands down!

Oh one more thing.

I cant log onto the admitted students website either.
